Can I continue my Open Water dive in Koh Tao?

Absolutely! If you have done the course elsewhere but haven’t completed all the requirements, you can complete the rest of the course at our dive center. We only need your PADI e-learning code to verify your theory progress and the PADI referral form to verify your completed skills.

We have all options available for you whether you need to complete two or four required open water dives and also even the confined water part. Please make sure that the referral form is valid for 12 months only. So don’t wait too long to get your first PADI certification

Can I start the theory and confined with my local dive center and finish it in Koh Tao?

If you’d like to shorten the days you need to spend on the course on Koh Tao, you can start the course at your nearby PADI dive center. At least, we suggest you complete all of the theories, reviews, quizzes, and exams. This way, when you arrive, we can focus completely on the diving skills.

However, ideally, we recommend you also do the confined water skill with your local dive center. With the theory and the confined skills completed before coming to Koh Tao, you can do the remaining 4 open water dives worry-free. This way you only need two days with us to become PADI Open Water diver certified.

Requirements for Partial PADI Open Water Course

• The participant is at least 10 years old at the time of the experience
• The participant has a valid PADI referral form that was signed within the past 12 months.
• The participant has a valid PADI e-learning code assigned to his/her account.
• The participant is physically and mentally healthy. He/she may want to check out the PADI medical form first for better understanding.
